About ILMUNC Latam

Bringing the world class program of the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference hosted by students from the University of Pennsylvania to Latinamerica, the first session of ILMUNC-Latam is gearing up for an exciting launch. Join us for 3 days of action packed debates where students will have the opportunity to learn about diverse global topics, put in practice their argumentation and negotiation skills, while learning from Ivy League students who will chair each committee session. All students will have access to the online training and preparation resources to help guide them through the academic learning process, including practicing the parliamentary protocol and rules of procedure with our online quiz, dive into prior research and submit their position paper to receive feedback from their committee directors. Experienced delegates also have the option of applying to be one of our Assitant Committee Directors who work alongside UPenn students running the committees and getting to be part of the action. Lastly, one cannot discount the vibrant multicultural nature of Latinamerica, and this all comes together when our International delegates share treats and culture from their home countries. And just in case you didn't get enough dancing, there will be a celebration to close off the weekend at the end of the event where delegates can enjoy and mingle in a fun and safe environment.
